IRONWILLED KINGMAN, AZ / DETROIT ARCHIVE

Collaboration

TARIK SKUBALX IRONWILLED

Earned quietly. Proven on the mound.

The journey

What stood in the way became the way.

Kingman, Arizona. Seattle University. An elbow rebuilt before a professional career had begun, and a ninth-round selection by the Detroit Tigers in 2018. No guarantees were offered. None were needed.

In 2022, a second surgery and a year away from the mound, spent on work no one watches. He returned to win the 2024 pitching Triple Crown and the American League Cy Young, then won the Cy Young again in 2025. The results changed. The routine did not.

The alignment

Discipline does not need an audience.

Ironwilled was built on one belief: the standard is kept in private, long before it is seen in public. Tarik lives that belief without announcing it. The alignment was never forced. It was recognized.

The partnership began with the King Skuub tee in November 2024, released to mark his Triple Crown and Cy Young season. It continues through an ongoing documentary series that follows the work between starts.

The docuseries

The work continues

The docuseries

The season is the result. This is the work.

An ongoing Ironwilled docuseries on Instagram follows Tarik through the hours that decide a season: offseason training, bullpen sessions, recovery, repetition.

No commentary. No spectacle. The work, as it happens. Follow @theironwilled for each new chapter.
